Its a Girl

This is a cake for an office baby shower party.  It is a white cake with white chocolate ganache filling and pink vanilla buttercream icing.  The bow, ribbon and baby decorations are made of fondant, but the cake itself is just iced with buttercream.

30th Birthday Cake

This was a chocolate cake filled and frosted with vanilla bean buttercream icing.  It was for a surprise 30th birthday, so we wanted to make the cake feel like a surprise party.  We are so happy to have been part of this celebration!  Happy Birthday Mel!

Gift Box Cake

I was asked to do a cake for a work party that a friend was having.   They were celebrating a retirement and an engagement, so I decided to make a gift box cake with two separate tags, to bring the themes together.  The cake is covered with fondant, and the bow is made of gumpaste.  The 'wrapping paper' is painted on with food coloring gel.
