Cake for Tom Chenault
Sunday, September 16, 2012
Tom Chenault was generous enough to ask me to do a cake for his training event today. This is a simple design, with his logo and a gray band around the base of the cake. I hope everyone enjoys the training today!

This is a cake for an office baby shower party. It is a white cake with white chocolate ganache filling and pink vanilla buttercream icing. The bow, ribbon and baby decorations are made of fondant, but the cake itself is just iced with buttercream.
Congratulations momma!

Fall Birthdays!
Wednesday, September 12, 2012
Fall is definitely in the air today.... and in the refrigerator! My favorite swimming group asked me to do a birthday cake for the folks with fall birthdays, so I went with simple pumpkins. They are made out of fondant and buttercream icing. Happy Fall everyone. Start thinking about your halloween costumes!

Lego Star Wars Cake
Friday, September 7, 2012
No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
When my nephew asked me to do a lego Star Wars cake, I knew a trip to Target was in my future. After doing some "research" in the toy aisle (I love my job), I was ready to go. I made a 3 tier vanilla cake with sprinkles and vanilla frosting. The cake is covered in rolled fondant and hand made fondant figures...
Mickey Mouse Darth Maul? Ha ha. This was apparently a bad angle... but maybe it's a good look on him?
I had so much fun making this cake. More pictures to come... Happy Birthday Jack!!
